Without seeing the Scriptures as primarily Christiological, we lose a gospel that is based in Christ and take on a gospel that is rooted in man’s efforts of obedience.

We were created specially by God for the sake of God’s own pleasure, and with that comes the greatest joy of being found in a specific and close relationship with Him.
God is calling us to drink of Him more deeply. He’s calling us to continue repenting of our sins and finding deep, abiding satisfaction in Him.
Instead of rejecting the invitation, we are called to receive and be blessed. What truth of God’s Word do you struggle to believe? In what way are you suddenly or maybe not so suddenly rejecting the invitation of Christ because you struggle with the truth of God‘s Word?
Provide yourselves with treasure that does not fail. Treasure Christ, put your heart there. Repent and believe these wonderful promises of God, following after Him.
Our security isn’t in understanding His plan but in trusting in Him as the plan-maker. He’s got this, and He’s got us as His children!
Are you living for money? Are you living for ease? Are you desirous of “the good life”? Repent from that today and be rich in God. Build a retirement fund and then retire to the service of others. Use manmade systems for accumulating wealth to be generous with your time and money, goods and services.
