“Believing God wants you to tithe and doing it are two different things. Some who do not tithe are consistent with their giving at a lower threshold, and others give when they feel they are able. Like many exhortations in Scripture, giving your finances to God is not necessarily easy in practice.”

Mission to “serve churches as they prioritize, elevate, and accelerate the vision of reaching every person for Jesus Christ in every town, every city, every state, and every nation through collaborative partnership, cooperation, and generosity.”

Now, the fact that Christ is the end and that God wins in the end doesn’t lessen our grief and pain now. Even though Jesus raised Lazarus at the end of the story, Jesus wept over his death in the middle of the story.

… But in Christ, though I had been in so many hurting relationships, God heals and forgives me. I’m to love people for who they are.

The potential shifts in social media come at a time when churches are enjoying a big advantage across all platforms.
