Scripture is part of our defense against, and attack on, evil. When describing the armor of God, Ephesians 6:17 says, “…and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”
Why would an unbeliever want what we have if we don’t offer them anything different than what the world offers?
The words we have chosen to use to describe God are both perfectly accurate and, at the same time, not enough to wholly depict Who God is.
Fellowship with other believers is vital for our Christian walk. Not just for fun and laughs, but for encouragement, accountability and learning.
God uses His children throughout their entire lives if we let Him.
God’s word is transformative. It does me no good to simply listen to or read that Word on autopilot without really taking anything in. Instead, I’m now praying to let it consume, work in and transform my life each day.
