The Bible is full of pictures of God’s unrelenting, eternal faithfulness to His people. Having this personal experience with and understanding of the depth of His sovereignty only strengthens my faith and leads me to love and know Him more and more.
God is calling us to drink of Him more deeply. He’s calling us to continue repenting of our sins and finding deep, abiding satisfaction in Him.
There’s one thing that truly never changes — God never changes. His love for us never changes. Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins will never change — it will never not be enough.
When I begin to trust instead of demanding an answer, truly trusting Him as my Creator, I have peace knowing no matter how the answer looks or when it comes, it will be from Him.
While we may be discouraged about events unfolding around us, whether they be global, national or personal, we can rest in God’s sovereignty and faithfulness. We can rest in His goodness.
