Some may need to be reminded that the free gift of salvation is to be grasped with both hands, not with one hand still holding our idols.
If we are Christians, we’re no longer representing ourselves, we’re representing Christ. It’s in the name. And how we live should reflect that. We no longer live for ourselves. We live to spread Christ’s love to the world.
While we’re in this broken world, we can hold on to the truth of God’s word and the hope of perfect peace and love we will one day experience in heaven.
