Releasing control and trusting God
“Where You go, I’ll go. Where You stay, I’ll stay. When You move, I’ll move. I will follow.”
“Where You go, I’ll go. Where You stay, I’ll stay. When You move, I’ll move. I will follow.”
Faith is not telling God the outcome and trusting Him to do it, it is trusting God in the outcome, and knowing He will walk us through it whatever that may be.
Forgiveness is deciding that you will not allow that hurt to control your life. It’s also about letting someone, or something, leave your life to allow healing to begin.
When I begin to trust instead of demanding an answer, truly trusting Him as my Creator, I have peace knowing no matter how the answer looks or when it comes, it will be from Him.
When Jesus says I can do nothing on my own, He reminds me that each day, each second and each breath comes from Him.
Our security isn’t in understanding His plan but in trusting in Him as the plan-maker. He’s got this, and He’s got us as His children!
Scripture doesn’t promise health, wealth or marriage, but it does promise that God will never leave us or forsake us (Deut. 31:6). So wherever you are, whatever you are feeling, God is there with you.
I am kind of obsessed with Pride and Prejudice (which is going to be known as P&P, because that’s what the cool kids call it).
