The International Mission Board recently had a conversation with Tom Hicks, the IMB’s new director of global healthcare strategies, during the International Baptist Hospital Consortium in Southeast Asia. This is the first year the IMB has facilitated this meeting.
Bart Barber emphasized the unity that is displayed to send fully funded missionaries. “I not only have hope for people in Central Asia, North Africa and the Middle East, Sub Saharan Africa, and eastern Europe because of you, but I have hope for Southern Baptists because of you,” Barber said.
“I can’t believe God is going to use our love of the outdoors, nature and hiking for His glory,” Norris said. “It’s humbling to think that God may use us to share the gospel with people who have never heard.”
